The Ada-Borup-West Cougars overcame a 14-point deficit in the second half to defeat the Nevis Tigers 80-75. The Tigers build their lead in the first half with both the inside and outside game on offense with their post-game drawing attention for the perimeter shooting to knock down eight three-pointers on the way to a 48-39 halftime lead. The Tigers started where they left off in the second half and built up a 14 point lead early in the second half. The Cougars responded with a 9-0 run to quickly trim the lead before a free throw game them a 63-62 lead with 7:25 remaining in the half. As the back and forth between the teams continued the Tigers pulled momentum with a six-point scoring burst to lead by five with five minutes left. Down the stretch the cougars retook the lead and scored their final six points from the free throw line to pick up the win.
