Bagley, MN – The Bagley Flyers moved above .500 on the season, earning a convincing 30-8 homecoming win over the Nevis Tigers on Friday night to improve to 3-2.

The Flyers set the tone early with a dominant first half on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Gunnar Nolan connected with Shane Thompson for three touchdown passes (51, 21, and 5 yards) as Bagley scored on three of four offensive possessions. Meanwhile, Nevis struggled to generate momentum, with two punts and two turnovers on downs marking their first-half drives. The Flyers’ defense swarmed to the football and disrupted the passing game, holding the Tigers scoreless for an 18-0 halftime lead.

The third quarter turned sloppy for both offenses, featuring five combined interceptions. Bagley’s Micah Tramm picked off two passes and Ethan Rud added another, while Nevis got interceptions from Peyton Benson and Cade Gross.

In the fourth, Tramm broke free for a 30-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 30-0. Nevis finally answered with a 1-yard scoring pass from Kaiden Ogundeji to AJ Bessler, but it was too little too late as the Flyers closed out the 30-8 victory.

Bagley (3-2) will stay home next week to face Pine River-Backus, while Nevis (2-3) travels to Park Christian.
