The Nevis Tigers used their size inside and some hot shooting to start the game to come away with a win over Mahnomen Waubun 68-51.  The Tigers hit 3s early to build a double digit lead, and defensively forced Mahnomen Waubun to turn the ball over.  Mahnomen Waubun would cut into the lead in the 2nd half cutting it to 10 points but couldnt get enough shots to fall to get any closer.  With the win Nevis is now 16-5 while Mahnomen Waubun drops to 8-16.
