Ada-Borup-West advanced in the 6A North Sub-Section tournament play with a 68-61 win over New York Mills.  #4 seed Ada-Borup-West controlled the rebounds , shot well from the floor and led the entire game ( two ties at 3-3 and 15-15) in the victory over the #5 seeded Eagles.  After a 37-27 halftime score, the Cougars led by 15 points in the second half when the Eagles made their comeback attempt.   New York Mills was within three points, 62-59 with over one minute to play.    The Cougars got a basket from Morgan Engel and some free throws to not allow the Eagles to get closer.  New York Mills ends it’s season 12-15.  Ada-Borup-West is 19-6 going into their sub-section semifinal game versus #1 seed Park Christian Saturday in Perham.
