Fertile, MN — The Fertile-Beltrami Falcons won in dominant fashion on Friday night beating the NCE/U-H Titans 69-26.

The Falcons were red hot shooting the basketball all night long and especially in the first half. Josie Iverson and Kasia Wilson both drilled four 3-pointers en route to a large halftime lead. In the second half, much of the same continued. The Falcons excellent shooting continued and they were able to run their offense at will and had multiple second chance opportunities thanks to their aggressive rebounding.

After Friday night’s win, the Falcons are now 4-2 and will play the Blackduck Drakes on Saturday at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls. The Titans now however, fall to 1-5 and will play a section opponent, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy next Tuesday.
