North Border’s girls’ basketball team broke open a close game in the third quarter Thursday as the Eagles beat Hillsboro-Central Valley 63-36 at Central Valley.

Junior point guard Jenna Fraser scored ten of her game-high 19 points in the third quarter as North Border turned a 22-20 halftime lead into a runaway victory….with the Eagles up 49-30 after the third frame.

Hillsboro-Central Valley was led by sophomore Megan Ensign, who had 14 points for the Burros. HCV is now 1-7 overall and 0-4 in Region 2 play.  The Burros play at Ada-Borup-West Friday night.

North Border also had 13 points from Addison Brown and ten from Kierra Moore.  The Eagles are now 4-4 overall and 2-2 in Region 2 play.  North Border plays at North Star on Saturday afternoon.
