Bishop Ryan bounces Sargent County in the ND Division B Boys Basketball State Tournament Quarterfinals: 58-44

The Lions roared out to an early lead, with a 32-17 halftime advantage. The Bulldogs trailed by 21 in the third but trimmed the lead down to eight in the fourth. The Bulldogs missed all six free throws in the fourth quarter, collapsing any comeback. Jett Lundeen led the Lions with 24. Ramsey Walz and Hayden Seay also reached double figures for the Lions with 15 and 11 points respectively. Grady Wehlander was the only Bulldog to reach double figures with 12.

Bishop Ryan (23-3) will battle the top-seeded North Star Bearcats in the semifinals. Sargent County (19-7) will face LaMoure-Litchville/Marion in the consolation semifinals. You can catch that contest on yourliveevent.com.
