North Dakota Division B Boys Basketball State Tournament Semifinals – North Star vs Bishop Ryan

The top-seeded North Star Bearcats were tested by the #4 Bishop Ryan Lions in Friday’s ND Division B Boys Basketball State Tournament. The hometown Lions had a slight lead in the second quarter, but a 10-0 run in that same quarter gave the Bearcats the lead for good, enroute to a 62-48 victory.

Dane Hagler dominated once again, leading the Bearcats with another double-double 25 points and 11 rebounds. Ramsey Walz led the Lions with 18 and Hayden Seay also got to double figures for Bishop Ryan, with 11.

The Bearcats (26-1) will face Westhope/Newburg for the state title Saturday night. Bishop Ryan (24-4) will battle Bowman County for 3rd.
