North Dakota State Class B Boys Basketball 5th Place Game

The Thompson Tommies downed the Powers Lake-Burke Central Ranchers with a 72-61 win in the consolation championship on Saturday afternoon from the Bismarck Events Center.

Jakob Starcevic with 26 points and 7 rebounds, while Drew Overby added 22 points and 4 rebounds for the Tommies. Thompson finished the season 18-8 overall and improved to 5-1 all-time in the state tournament.

Mr. Basketball Finalist Tyson Enget paced the Ranchers with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Powers Lake-Burke Central finished 21-6 overall.
