Rugby 46, Garrison 45

Peyton Hauck and Mykell Heidelbaugh scored 14 points apiece to lead Rugby to a 46-45 victory over Garrison in the third place game at the North Dakota Class B State Girls Basketball Tournament Saturday in Minot.

Garrison jumped to a 17-5 first quarter lead, but Rugby stormed back–outscoring the Troopers 16-2 in the second frame and taking a 21-19 lead at halftime.

Cara Schlehr scored 16 points for Garrison with Mia Gehring adding 14, with four three point baskets.

Rugby ends the year with a 23-3 record; Garrison is 23-4.
