North Dakota State Class B Girls Basketball 5th Place Game

A 13-0 run during the first and second quarters propelled Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier to a 63-37 victory over Langdon Area-Edmore-Munich in the fifth place game at the North Dakota Class B Girls State Basketball Tournament Saturday in Minot.

Kiara Jangula scored 21 points to lead the Rebels, with Mataeya Mathern adding 18 points and 11 rebounds.  EKM shot 51.1% from the field, while holding Langdon Area-Edmore-Munich to 33.3% shooting.

Jaya Henderson had 16 points to lead the Cardinals, who end the year with a 20-6 record.

Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier ends the year 21-6.
