North Dakota State Class B Girls Basketball 7th Place Game

Bowman County goes home with the seventh place trophy from the North Dakota Class B Girls State Basketball tournament as the Bulldogs defeated Kenmare-Bowbells 55-47 Saturday afternoon in Minot.

Bowman County had double doubles from Jaci Fischer (17 points and 12 rebounds) and Ellie Powell (16 and 10) on their way to the victory.  Raegen Honeyman also scored 16 for the Bulldogs, who end the season 23-4.

Madison Melin scored 19 points to lead Kenmare-Bowbells, while the Honkers’ Brenna Stroklund had 13 points, ten rebounds, six blocked shots and three assists.  Kenmare-Bowbells finishes with a 22-5 record.
