North Star vs Thompson

After trailing in the third set, the Thompson Tommies rallied back to win and start their season with a 3-0 sweep over the the North Star Bearcats 25-14, 25-12, 25-20. The Tommies were able to take advantage of Bearcat errors in the first two sets before North Star settled into a rhythm to start the third set. Looking to extend the match North Star used their momentum to go up 11-5 in the set. Thompson would use a timeout and came out re-focused after the break and eventually tied the score at 19-19 before ending the set and match on a 10-1 service run for the opening night victory.
