Central Cass survives late Jaguars runs for sweep

Central Cass earned a sweep on the road vs Northern Cass on Tuesday night, but not without a fight to the end in each set. The Squirrels had 4-point leads or greater in all three sets when attempting match point, but the Jaguars went on a 5-0 run in set #1 to pull ahead 25-24 but lost the next three points giving Central Cass a 27-25 set 1 victory. Same story in set 2 at 24-18, Northern Cass earns 5 straight before losing the set on a net violation 25-23. And the Squirrels pulled out to a 24-15 lead before a Jaguars 5-0 run, but a long serve ended the night in 3 sets.

Aspyn Prien had a magnificent night in the middle, paying off multiple perfect Abby Kobbervig sets as the Squirrels swept on the road.
