Northern Cass vs Thompson

In their only match of the week the Thompson Tommies earned the home victory when they defeated the Northern Cass Jaguars 3-1 (25-21, 24-26, 25-13. 25-21). Thompson picked up fast starts in the first two sets before the Jaguars rallied with aggressive play at the net to split the sets and tie the match at 1-1. Thompson would continue to start each set strong and helped by aggressive serving they took the third set 25-13 before using that momentum to win the fourth set 25-21.

Thompson improves to 18-3-1 overall and will next play at Hatton-Northwood on Monday, while Northern Cass drops to 9-9-1 with a road match at Kindred on Thursday next up.
