GBB Park Christian at Ada-Borup-West

The Park Christian Falcons over came a double digit deficit in the first half and held on as the Ada-Borup-West Cougar shoot at the buzzer missed off the rim for the 53-55 Falcon win. After the Falcons fell behind by 11 points, they were able to hold the Cougars scoreless for over seven minutes to get back into the contest and tie the game before going into halftime trailing 28-24. The Falcons then opened the half on a 10-2 run to take the lead. Both teams fought back and forth, neither team could build a lead larger than four points after halftime. Down the stretch the Falcons were able to convert from the free throw line and be up two with the Cougars in-bounding the ball in their half of the court with three seconds remaining. With the primary option not available the Cougars still got a good look from the right corner but the shot rimmed off as the buzzer sounded. Park Christian is now 11-1 and will host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Saturday. Ada-Borup-West has their seven game win streak end as they fall to 7-3 and will host Red Lake Falls next Tuesday.
