Climax, MN — The Park Christian Falcons defeated the Climax/Fisher Knights 3-0 on Thursday night.

Park Christian dominated both sets one and two with solid volleyball and little mistakes, 25-18 and 25-11. Set three thought would be a different story. Climax/Fisher held and early 7-3 advantage and would control that lead up to 15-8, that’s where Park Christian took their first timeout. From that point, Park Christian would go on an 11-1 run and held a 19-16 advantage in the final stages of the set, or so we thought.

Climax/Fisher would claw their way back cutting the deficit to 20-19. From then on both teams traded points up to the 24-24 mark giving us extra volleyball. Both teams would trade blows before Park Christian scored the final two points of the set winning 31-29 and the match 3-0.

Park Christian is now 3-4 on the year with the win and will play at the Parkers Prairie tournament on Saturday where they will face multiple Section 6A opponents. With the loss, Climax/Fisher falls to 3-6 and they will play at a tournament in Crookston this Saturday.
