Park River/Fordville-Lankin used strong defense and rebounding to defeat Hillsboro-Central Valley 44-21 Tuesday night in Buxton.

Senior Hannah Halvorson scored 23 points to lead the Aggies to their third consecutive victory and preventing Hillsboro-Central Valley from getting back to back wins for the first time this season.

The Aggies are now 9-7 overall and 7-5 in Region 2 play.  They host North Border on Friday.

Freshman Paige Cotton had seven points to lead the Burros, who are now 2-14 overall and 2-7 in Region 2 play.  Hillsboro-Central Valley plays at Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Thursday night.
