Pillager at Bertha-Hewitt

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears scored a 3-game sweep victory over Pillager, snapping a 5-game losing skid. It was three competitive sets with scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-23. In each set, Bertha-Hewitt was stronger at the finish.
Set two featured 14 ties and six lead changes, as Pillager let a 19-15 lead slip away.
The Huskies nearly turned the tide in the third set as the Bears lead 21-12. Pillager roared back to cut the lead to one at 22-21, but the Bears were able to keep pace and secure the sweep.
Ella Barrett led the Huskies with 13 kills and 11 assists. Sophie Schlosser scored 8 kills and 4 blocks and Kiah Dumpprope had 20 assists.
Kendal Beyatt tallied 7 kills, 7 blocks and two aces for B-H while Lilly Cardinal pitched in 18 assists.
The Bears are now 10-11, 2-4 in Park Region Conference play while the Huskies fell to 10-15 and also 2-4 in the PRC.
