Rainy River WBB at Mesabi Range CC

The Rainy River women’s basketball team picked up a North Division last night in Virginia as they defeated Mesabi Range 70-60.  The Voyageurs built a 39-22 halftime lead and then held off the Norsewomen for the victory.  Maddie Lowe missed a triple double by 2 rebounds as she had 18 points, 10 steals, and 8 rebounds.  Cara Polk and Saniya Wright each had 13 points and Cyra Polk chipped in 10 points and never came off the floor.   The Voyageur women are now 4-13 overall and 1-1 in the division.
