Fosston 3 Red Lake 0 (25-11, 25-6, 25-10)

The Fosston Greyhounds recorded 21 service aces as they advanced in the Section 8A Volleyball Tournament. Miley Hove had 7 service aces for Fosston as they improve to 11-13 overall. Hatty Quam added 4aces at the line for Fosston. Lexi Mahlen led the Fosston attack with 10 kills with Sofia Rue adding 5 kills and Teagan Duppong 4 kills for the Greyhounds.  Marcella Loud had 2 service aces for Red Lake as the Warriors end their season at 1-12. The Greyhounds advance to the second round of the tournament and will travel to Blackduck to take on the #3 seeded Drakes on Wednesday, October 23rd (1480-AM/99.7 FM) at 7:00 pm. The Greyhounds and Drakes did not play each other during the regular season. The Drakes are 16-6 overall and have won their last five matches.
