Red Lake Falls, MN — The Red Lake County Rebels defeated the Red Lake Warriors 86-39 on Thursday night to improve to 3-0 on the season.

The Rebels, who are a premier team when it comes to scoring the basketball, got after it on the defensive end of the floor. The Rebels relentless and in your face pressure defense made Red Lake uncomfortable all night long. Red Lake County used a 13-0 scoring run to put the game out of reach at 21-7 in the first half. Rebel’s Senior Connor Duden also notched his 2,000 career point at the 8:51 mark of the first half. Duden led all scorers with 23 points. The defensive pressure never let up in the second half and Red Lake County would cruise to a 86-39 victory.

Red Lake County is now 3-0 and will play the Northern Freeze on Saturday. Red Lake Falls to 0-2 and will host Blackduck tomorrow.
