Red Lake County Central at Mahnomen-Waubun

The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds picked up their 4th win of the year with a 61-46 win over RLCC.  The Mustangs played very well in the first half building and holding a lead for the majority of the 1st half by making shots and getting to free throw line and making the free throws.  Mahnomen Waubun struggled with foul trouble and their shots not falling, but as the half wound down they would hit some 3’s to tie the game at 28 at the half.  In the 2nd half the Thunderbirds were the aggressors making shots and getting to the foul line building a double digit lead.  The Mustangs would struggle with scoring, turnovers, and fouls but would cut a 14 point lead to 7 midway through the half but that would be as close as they would get.  The Thunderbirds are now 4-7 while RLCC falls to 1-9
