Red Lake County vs. Stephen-Argyle

The Red Lake County Rebels never trailed as they defeated the Stephen-Argyle Storm 60-42 in the Section 8A semifinals at Thief River Falls. The Storm drew to within three points at 21-18 late in the first half but that would be as close as they would get as the Rebels carried a 27-20 lead into halftime. Connor Duden led the Rebels with 23 points and 9 rebounds as Red Lake County improved to 28-2 overall. It was the 25th win in the last 26 games for the Rebels with the only loss during that time coming against Kittson County Central in their conference championship game. Owen Chervestad added 13 points and Will Gieseke 10 points for Red Lake County. Caden Pagnac led Stephen-Argyle with 11 points as the Storm had their 12 game winning streak snapped and end their season at 17-12. Blaine Smith added 10 points for Stephen-Argyle. It was the third time this season that Red Lake County defeated Stephen-Argyle with the Rebels winning 87-65 and 90-70 during the regular season. The Rebels move on to the Section 8A Championship game on Friday in Thief River Falls.
