The Central Cass Squirrels are heading to their first state tournament since 2012 with a 44-40 win over the Kindred Vikings on Thursday night.

Central Cass held Kindred to their season low in points and were paced by Cole Holzer with 11 points and 15 rebounds. The Squirrels will find out their quarterfinal round opponent on Friday ahead of the State Class B Tournament beginning on Thursday, March 16 at the Bismarck Events Center.

Presley Peraza had 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor.
