Region 1 Boys Basketball Semifinals – Wahpeton vs Valley City

The Wahpeton Huskies are heading to the Division A Region 1 boys basketball championship with a 47-44 win over Valley City on Tuesday night.

Brayden Steffens had 15 points and Jayden King added 12 points for the Huskies. Wahpeton (16-7 overall) will play Kindred in the championship on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. from the Scheels Center in Fargo.

Carson Eggert paced Valley City with 17 points as the Hi-Liners will matchup with Central Cass for third place in the Region Tournament on Thursday at 6 p.m. You can watch both games on yourliveevent.com.
