Region 1 Girls Basketball Third Place – Kindred vs Wahpeton

Kindred erased a 13-point fourth quarter deficit en route to a 56-46 win over Wahpeton in the Division A Region 1 girls basketball tournament on Wednesday night from the Scheels Center.

Kindred outscored Wahpeton 29-6 in the fourth quarter and is moving on to play the loser of Thompson/Devils Lake in a State Qualifier on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Mayville State.

Peyton Gette had 15 points on her 18th birthday to pace Kindred.

Scout Woods scored 17 points and Halle Miller added 15 points in the loss for Wahpeton. The Huskies finished 11-12 on the season.
