Region 1 Girls Basketball Tournament Semifinals – #1 Kindred vs #4 Northern Cass

Northern Cass is heading to their third straight region championship game with a 67-61 win over Kindred in the Division A Region 1 girls basketball semifinals on Tuesday night.

Haidyn Crockett scored 39 points, Josie Jensen added 11 points and Northern Cass finished 18-19 from the free-throw line.

Liza Trenbeath scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds for Kindred as the Vikings had three players score in double digits.

The Jaguars (16-7 overall) are looking for their first trip to the state tournament since 2005 and will play Valley City in the championship on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. from the Scheels Center.
