Region 1 Girls Basketball Tournament Championship

The Central Cass Squirrels are heading to their 8th state tournament after a 69-49 win over Northern Cass on Friday night in the Region 1 championship.

Decontee Smith scored a game-high 27 points and Klaire Cotton added 26 points for Central Cass. The Squirrels head to the Minot State Dome as the #2 seed and will play Bowman County on Thursday at 1 p.m. You can listen to all three Central Cass games from the state tournament on Your Live Event.

Halle Crockett paced Northern Cass with 21 points in her final game for the Jaguars. Crockett was named Region 1 Senior Athlete of the Year.
