Thompson 8 Nelson County Midkota 4 

The Thompson Tommies remained undefeated in the North Dakota Class B Region 2 tournament in Mayville after defeating Nelson County Midkota 8 to 4 on Monday evening in Mayville. 

Nelson County Midkota scored right away in the top of the first after Ross Thompson drove in Brody Rainsberry. Thompson responded with a first inning run of their own after Thomas Schumacher walked, stole a base, and scored on a ball put in play. 

Nelson County Zach Gibson scored for the Chargers in the 3rd and Thompson responded by scoring four runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. From then on it was all Tommies as they added three more runs of their own in the 5th inning right after Nelson County Midkota scored two more in the top of the 5th. 

Thompson Drew Odenbach threw a complete seven innings picking up a win, wile Preston Lee threw 6 innings allowing eight runs.
