#4 Four Winds/Minnewaukan faced #5 Grafton in a ND Division A Region 2 Girls Basketball Quarterfinal Monday night. The Spoilers were primed to spoil the party for Four Winds/Minnewaukan, with a 7-2 lead early. But the Lady Indians grabbed the lead on a 11-0 run to close out the first quarter, and never looked back enroute to a 53-33 victory. The Lady Indians nearly shut out Grafton in the second quarter, outscoring the Spoilers, 16-2, to lead 29-9 at the half. Both teams added 24 in the second half.

Suri Gourd led all scorers, pacing FWM with 17. Ava Gourd added twelve for the Lady Indians. Summer Moberg led the Spoilers with 13. Grafton ends their season at 6-15. FWM will take on the top-seeded Thompson Tommies in Tuesday’s semifinals.
