Region 2 Girls Basketball Tournament Semifinals

Thompson 60, Hatton-Northwood 43

Thompson clinched its 11th consecutive appearance in the Region 2 championship game with a 60-43 victory over Hatton-Northwood Tuesday at the University of North Dakota.

The Tommies had four players score in double figures, led by senior Olivia Dick with 16.  Kya Hurst had 13 points, Brenna Martin 12 and Sydney Schwabe 11…as Thompson improved to 21-2 on the season.

Trista Bilden led Hatton-Northwood with 14 points.  The Thunder are now 17-6 on the year.

Thompson meets Grafton for the Region 2 title Thursday in Grand Forks.  Hatton-Northwood will play Mayport-CG Thursday for third place.
