Region 2A Volleyball Tournament – Grafton vs Thompson

The Thompson Tommies outlasted the Grafton Spoilers in the Third Place game in ND Region 2A playoffs, advancing to the State qualifier on Saturday vs Oak Grove in Jamestown.

Thompson wins 23-25, 26-24, 25-18, 18-25, 15-9 over Grafton after the teams split in the regular season.  The Tommies were led by Addison Sage, who surpassed 1000 career assists during the match.  Kloey Huebner had double digit kills, Danica Grove played strong at the next and Kaylee Kurz had 5 ace serves, as the Tommies improved to 23-10 and play for a chance at State on Saturday in Jamestown.  Grafton graduates 6 seniors from the roster after a 19-15 season record.
