Rothsay at Ada-Borup-West

The Ada-Borup-West Cougars will advance to play in the Sub-Section Semifinals after an 83-49 victory over the Rothsay Tigers. With the teams having just played each other a week ago to end the regular season the Tigers looked to set the tone early and jumped out in front with an early lead to open the game. The Cougars found their footing midway through the first half with a 20-0 scoring run that put them ahead by 15 going into halftime. In the second half the Cougars defense tightened up on the Tigers offense, allowing the Cougars to continue to build their lead. with the win the Cougars have won 13 consecutive games and will face Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in the next round on Saturday.
