Pequot Lakes at Royalton

The Pequot Lakes Lady Patriots were victorious on the road on Friday February 20th by a score of 72-47 over the Royalton Royals.  The Patriots jumped on the Royals early taking a 33-13 lead that dwindled to 37-26 at the half.  In the second half the teams traded runs with it never being closer than 9 points at 48-39.  From there the patriots closed the game on a 24-8 run for the victory.  The Patriots were led by Chelby Wothe’s 22 points.  She was one of 4 starters in double figures: Alexa Pietig had 17, June Ruud 16 and Emme Sullivan chipped in 10.  The Patriots closed the regular season with a 17-9 overall record.
