JAMESTOWN, ND – Thompson gutted out a 39-36 win over Rugby in the North Dakota State A Girls Basketball Tournament on Thursday afternoon.

Addie Sage scored a game-high 15 points, Kya Hurst added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the Tommies. THompson heads to the semifinal round of the State Tournament on Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Kindred.

Avery Santjer paced Rugby with 13 points as the Panthers head to the consolation semifinals against Devils Lake at 1 p.m. on Friday from the Jamestown Civic Center.
