Sacred Heart 60 Win-E-Mac 21

The East Grand Forks Sacred Heart Eagles used a 19-2 run and a 20-0 run to lead them to the 60-21 win at Win-E-Mac Friday night. The Eagles had four eighth graders see extensive playing time with two of them in the starting lineup and they combined for 30 points in the game. Leah Sundby led the Eagles with 11 points as they improved to 12-9 overall. Lydia Riskey and Isabel Vonesh both added 10 points for Sacred Heart. Kianna Tadman and Kiersten Anderson both scored six points for Win-E-Mac as the Patriots fall to 2-19 overall. Sacred Heart led 35-15 at halftime and held Win-E-Mac scoreless for the first 6:44 of the second half. Ten players entered the scoring column for Sacred Heart as the Eagles shot 12 of 13 at the free throw line in the first half. Sacred Heart won the “B” Squad game over Win-E-Mac 42-21.
