HOPE, ND – Sargent County picked up a road victory to being the 9-man football season on Friday night with a 36-24 win at Maple River.
Michael Hoistad finished with 169 yards passing and 2 touchdowns while teammate James Throener had 165 total yards and 3 touchdown for the Bulldogs. Sargent County erased a 12-0 first half deficit in the win and will travel to Griggs-Midkota for their next contest.
Carter Baasch and Tee Sylling combined for 281 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns for Maple River. The Raiders head to Tri-State for their next game.
