Sec 8A FB Ada-Borup-West vs Red Lake County

Recap

It was a battle for all four quarters on Tuesday night in Oklee as Ada-Borup-West gave Red Lake County all they could handle, but in the end, the Rebels were able to make a few more plays to earn victory on home field.  Red Lake County scored first on a bass from Gunnar Broden to Benji Bramer and it was 6-0 Rebels at halftime.  Ada Borup West punched one in on a short field in the 3rd quarter on a Rudy Reyes rush and it was 6-6.  The Rebels scored again before the end of the third quarter on a Boe Nelson 14 yard run, and a two point conversion made it 14-6.  It would be 20-6 after Ben Gullingsrud scored a touchdown but the Cougars answered on a Braxton Hendricks score and it was a game again at 20-12.  The Rebels converted on a fourth down, and then scored on the next play on a big Boe Nelson run to ice the game at 26-12.
