In Quarterfinal Section 8 9 man football action from Warren Tuesday night the 5 seed Win-E-Mac Patriots won big against the 4 seed WAO Ponies 46-6.
After a season that was hit by the injury bug week 3, the Patriots are now back at full strength led by Bemidji State University commit Senior Ryan Kangas who had a monster game with 236 yards on 15 carries and 4 touchdowns. It wouldn’t take the Patriots and Ryan Kangas long to get going, on their second play from scrimmage Kangas busted a long 69 yard touchdown run and Win-E-Mac never looked back from there. Kangas would score 3 more times, from 50 yards out, 54 yards out, and 2 yards out. Quarterback Braylon Hamre also scored a 1 yard touchdown run, and Freshmen Runningback Jayden Haugen would leave his imprint on the game with 2 touchdowns runs of 70 yards and 82 yards. Haugen would finish with 188 yards on 8 carries.
