Section 8A-E BB Fosston vs Blackduck

The Fosston Greyhounds scored 14 runs on 15 hits as they rolled to the 14-1 win over Blackduck to win the East Sub Section 8A Championship at Bemidji State. Eleven Greyhound batters had at least one hit in the game as they improve to 17-5 overall. Trevor Vig, Mitchell Mulry, Aiden Wolfe and Tanner Vig each had two hits for Fosston while Jake Mistic and Carter Pater each had two hits for the Drakes. The Greyhounds scored six runs in the first inning and five in the third. Fosston will now play Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm in the Section 8A semifinals at Crookston while the Drakes will play in an elimination round game at 11:00 am on Saturday in Crookston.
