FARGO, ND – South Prairie-Max is making the most of their first trip to the State Class B Volleyball Tournament in program history with a sweep over Kenmare-Bowbells on Thursday afternoon in the quarterfinals.
The #2 seeded Royals downed the HonkersĀ 25-14, 25-15, 27-25 and will play the winner of Central McLean and Medina-Pingree/Buchanan in the semifinal at 5 p.m. on Friday from the Fargodome.
Azjiah Trader had 17 kills and 8 digs while Reagan Trudell added 29 assists for the Royals.
Taya Aufforth paced Kenmare-Bowbells with 10 kills and Brea Chrest had 18 digs.
The Honkers will play in the consolation semifinals at 1 on Friday afternoon.
