Stephen-Argyle 6 Goodridge/Grygla 34

Fargo, ND — The Goodridge/Grygla Chargers won the Section 8 9-Man Football Championship on Thursday afternoon inside the Fargodome defeating Stephen-Argyle 34-6.

Some early injuries hindered what the Chargers were able to do early in the game in what started as it looking like it was going to be a defensive slugfest. However, the Chargers found production all over the field with Quarterback Blake Rychlock who made plays on both sides of the ball and also from running backs Carson Rubischko and Kehan Nelson. This was the second straight year that the Chargers found themselves in the Section Championship, with the win they will play in the State 9-Man Football Quarterfinals next Thursday at Moorehead High School vs. the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons, the Section 6 9-Man Football Champions.
