FARGO, ND – The Kindred Vikings are heading to a State Qualifier with a 53-38 win over Wahpeton on Thursday afternoon.

Liza Trenbeath scored a game-high 24 points and Kennedy Bakko added 18 points for Kindred. The duo combined for 7 three-pointers. The Vikings will play at 3 p.m. on Saturday against the loser of Carrington/Devils Lake at Mayville State. You can watch the game on yourliveevent.com.

Wahpeton senior Scout Woods left the game late in the first quarter with an injury and never returned to the game. Woods finished with a team-high 8 points alongside her younger sister Claire Woods.

The Huskies finished the season 10-14 overall.
