FARGO, ND – Northern Cass topped Kindred 69-54 in the Division A Region 1 girls basketball semifinals on Tuesday night.

Haidyn Crockett finished with a game-high 30 points and Tess Jalbert added 20 points with four three-pointers for Northern Cass. The Jaguars have won back-to-back games after losing 10 straight heading into the Region 1 Tournament. The Jags will play Valley City for the second straight season in the championship on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

Sierra Nipstad paced Kindred with 23 points. The Vikings (18-5 overall) matchup against Wahpeton for the Region 1 third place game on Thursday at 1 p.m. You can listen to both games on yourliveevent.com.
