Macy Hase scored 7 of her game high 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead Linton-HMB to a 36-33 victory over Landon Area-Munich Saturday to earn a berth in the North Dakota Class B Girls State Basketball tournament.
The Lions (15-11) led almost the entire game, taking an 11-2 advantage early in the second quarter. But Langdon Area-Munich wouldn’t go away. The Cardinals (18-9) trailed 18-14 at halftime, 25-20 after three and narrowed the deficit late, but could never get the lead.
Hillary Haaven led Langdon Area-Munich with 9 points, 4 assists and 4 steals.
Linton-HMB is the 8th seed in the State Class B Tournament. They’ll face top seed Central McLean in the first game of the evening bracket Thursday night in Minot.
