Devils Lake vs Kindred – North Dakota State A Boys Basketball Tournament

BISMARCK, ND – Kindred overcame a 26 point first half deficit to win the State A boys basketball championship 59-58 over Devils Lake.

Brooks Bakko made a put back layup following a Karson Ouse missed three-pointer to win the state championship at the horn.

Ouse was named Tournament MVP and finished with 17 points. The Vikings won their second championship in program history and finished the season 25-1 overall.

Oliver Wirth paced Devils Lake with 18 points in the loss. The Firebirds finished 24-2 overall with both losses coming to Kindred.

Kindred head coach Brad Woehl was named Coach of the Year and and Parker Brodina from Devils Lake was the Senior Athlete of the Year.
