Central Cass vs Kindred – Region 1A Girls Basketball Tournament Championship

FARGO, ND – Kindred never trailed in their 57-25 win over over Central Cass in the Region 1A girls basketball championship on Thursday night.

Sierra Nipstad finished with 29 points while Liza Trenbeath added 13 points and 10 rebounds. It’s the Vikings first region championship since 2022. Kindred heads to the State Tournament on Thursday, March 5 – Saturday, March 7.

Kenley Haug finished with 12 points in the loss for Central Cass. The Squirrels head to a state qualifier against Devils Lake on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Mayville State.
