Thief River Falls at Mahnomen/Waubun

Recap

The Mahnomen Waubun Thunderbirds came back from a 18 point first half deficit to defeat the Thief River Falls Prowlers 85-69.  The Prowlers shot the ball very well in the first half, and the Thunderbirds defense would struggle to get stops.  As the half would go on the Thunderbirds would chip away and go on a 18-0 run to tie the game at 33.  From there the Prowlers would hit some shots to give them a halftime lead of 44-38.  In the 2nd half the Thundrbirds would go to work on the inside and step up their defense not giving the Prowlers clean shots and forcing several turnovers while Mahnomen Waubun would get the ball inside for easy baskets and a nice win to end the regular season.  Mahnomen Waubun ends their regular season at 15-11 While TRF is now 14-11.
