Underwood vs. West Central Area

For the first time since 2020, the West Central Area Knights are heading back to the State Tournament, defeating Underwood 56-51, denying the Rockets their third consecutive 6A crown.

West Central Area stretched a lead to eight points in the first half, only to see it slip away before halftime, hanging on to a 25-22 lead at the break.

The game would be all defense until midway through the second half, when Senior leader Addison Staples went on a 7-0 run herself, forcing a lead change at 39-38, which the Knights never let go, finishing 56-51 over Underwood.
